Founded in 1921, Straub Clinic & Hospital is a fully integrated nonprofit health care system with a 159-bed tertiary care hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai‘i. With more than 300 employed or contracted physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with expert diagnoses and treatments for more than 30 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, women’s health, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region’s only multi-disciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai‘i, such as pioneering minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement. In 2010, the American Heart Association recognized Straub in three areas of excellence: Coronary Artery Disease (Gold Award), Heart Failure (Silver Award) and Heart Attack (Bronze Award).
Straub has led Hawai‘i in the introduction of procedures which can dramatically lower trauma and discomfort for patients and shorten their recovery time. We provide a comprehensive array of heart and vascular services for every stage of life. Our award-winning cardiac care is recognized as among the nation’s best and is continually evolving and expanding to meet the needs of Hawai‘i patients. At our Cardiac Catheterization lab, we employ the latest catheterization technology to diagnose heart problems and identify the most appropriate treatment plan for each patient.
If you have exceptional technical and patient care skills, you could help our Cardiac Catheterization Lab deliver quality, compassionate cardiac care to our patients and their families. As the Cardiac Catheterization Radiology Technologist, you will help to perform a variety of invasive and noninvasive diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization procedures, as well as other relevant technical duties. This position is for someone with a strong sense of quality control, a talent for managing complex instrumentation and procedures and a commitment to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.
