With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
Pali Momi is West O'ahu's only accredited cancer treatment facility, committed to providing compassionate and quality care close to home, eliminating the burden of traveling to Honolulu for rigorous treatment schedules. The center's staff is specially trained in oncology care and includes nurses who have also received national certification from the Oncology Nursing Society. Our chemotherapy bays are a shining example of the center's attention to patient comfort. Each bay is private and is equipped for patients to watch television, play DVD's or listen to music. With sensitivity for patients and their loved ones, we strive to make each visit comfortable and relaxing in a stress-free, healing environment.
