Hawaii Pacific Health Clinical Systems Trainer - Patient Services Admin in Aiea, Hawaii

Job Description

With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.

The Clinical Systems Training department helps build the team’s expertise in patient care by expanding our clinical employees’ skills through demonstrations, continuing education courses, and other educational offerings. With the widespread computerization of health records and other information sources, including hospital administration functions and health human resources information, health informatics and health information technology are being increasingly used in the health care sector.

If you are reliable, organized and proactive, you may be the ideal candidate for our Clinical Systems Trainer position, where you will be essential to ensuring ongoing electronic charting and clinical workflow training for clinical staff at Pali Momi. You will be tasked with providing input on the design, scheduling, delivery, and maintenance of skill-based training for various electronic modules. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service and communication skills, pays strong attention to detail and is committed to helping our organization create a healthier Hawaii.
