Job Description
With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
Our Imaging Services offer a wide range of technologies from simple X-rays to complicated interventional radiological procedures. Our highly trained professionals and state-of-the-art facilities provide quality imaging services for patient diagnosis and treatment, including: Diagnostic Radiology, Computerized Tomography, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Electroencephalography, Electrocardiogram, Holter Monitoring and Echocardiography.
As the Director of Imaging, you will guide one of the most significant, technologically advanced areas of Kapiolani and its affiliates. This includes overseeing all aspects of imaging service operations (CT, Diagnostic, EEG, EKG, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound), including all administrative, operational, and clinical aspects of the organization’s Imaging Services; the testing of new procedures and related protocol; implementation of new techniques and equipment; and maintenance of departmental facilities, equipment and supplies. We are looking for someone with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, a dedicated track-record of experience with imaging technologies and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
