Pali Momi Medical Center overlooks majestic Pearl Harbor on the island of O‘ahu. With 116 beds and more than 390 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi has delivered many medical firsts to the community, including West O‘ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit for the detection and treatment of heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, CT scan and MRI services, emergency services, a Women’s Center and the state’s first Retina Center. Our Cardiology services are among the best in the State, and encompass specialty care including non-invasive diagnostics, EKG, Treadmill and Echocardiogram Imaging for both clinic and hospital in-patients. Our Electrocardiology (EKG) department includes specially trained technicians and qualified physicians who employ state-of-the-art EKG technology and imaging techniques for accurate diagnosis and appropriate patient care plan development.
As a Registered Nurse in our Electrocardiology department, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in an Emergency Room or Critical Care Unit.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field. Two (2) years recent Registered Nurse experience in Imaging. Experience with Cardiac Stress tests, Stress Echo studies, Echo contrast studies, Bubble studies and Tee studies. Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) CPR cards.
