With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center. Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician.
The Respiratory Therapy team partners with health care professionals across the continuum of care to provide quality therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care for our patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary disorders. Our certified respiratory therapists are specialized in both cardiac and pulmonary nursing and medicine, and work with patients to improve lung function through exercises, special medications and the use of oxygen equipment. This experienced team incorporates evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art technologies in their practice to improve patient experience while at our hospitals and clinics.
As the Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will help to provide professional, compassionate respiratory therapy care to patients and their families, including the delivery cardiorespiratory and related services and serving as a technical resource on all aspects of respiratory care. We are looking for someone with great communications and patient care skills, the ability work in collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards. Current Hawai'i State Respiratory Therapist License.
Preferred Experience: One (1) year respiratory care or related experience.
