Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our EMR Inpatient team is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic medical records for inpatient hospitals.

In this role, you will provide application support to user Departments and help to connect the clinical services area and the Information Technology Department. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Health Care or related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One (1) year of clinical workflow experience to include taking, deciphering/interpreting and placing physician orders into electronic medical systems or one (1) year experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record system and working with clinical users to determine their needs and manage the changes to those specifications, including troubleshooting systems issues and modifying the applications. Experience with computers.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous project management experience. Experience with supporting an Electronic Medical Record or Order Entry System in a Hospital/Inpatient Setting. Experience implementing a Hospital Electronic Medical Record System.
