Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices. Our EMR Inpatient team is responsible for support and maintenance of electronic medical records for inpatient hospitals.

This position will be in our Clinical Device Integration Group. We are looking for a candidate that can work in a fast-paced environment, and who is adaptable, well organized and has good problem solving skills. The CDI team manages a wide variety of applications used in varying departments and specialties in the organization. You will be responsible for third party clinical and ancillary applications that integrate with our EMR. In this position, you’ll work at one of our Hospital’s as the point person for the CDI Group. You’ll need to successfully work with multidisciplinary teams that are clinical and non-clinical. Experience with MS servers, MS SQL and knowledge of HL7 interface transaction highly desired.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Health Care or related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One (1) year of experience in functional analysis, system design and/or business applications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in supporting information systems. Experience in analyzing workflow and implementing changes in workflow.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the minimum hourly rate for the position. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.

Starting Hourly Rate: 45.33
