The Biomedical Engineering department supports and enhances the work of our health care professionals by overseeing the maintenance, evaluation, technical support and training for all medical and scientific instrumentation/biomedical equipment. Our team ensures that the latest health care engineering and technology is put to the service of quality patient care and we work to enhance the use of this technology through ongoing evaluation, operation and staff education.
As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing equipment service contracts and new equipment purchases. You will analyze utilization of existing contracts, evaluate and prepare new proposals, build vendor relations, coordinate database management systems and computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Three (3) years of general business experience related to contract analysis, purchasing, proposal development, or related functions. Knowledge of contract negotiation and process administration.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of healthcare materials management operations, CMMS, statistical and financial analysis, budget preparation, value and cost analysis, reimbursement and productivity measurement. Knowledge of medical equipment, i.e.: Radiology, imaging, anesthesia, lasers, and/or monitoring equipment.
