At Hawai‘i Pacific Health the Quality Management team strengthens the organization by promoting a data-driven approach to systematic quality and improvement. The team maintains accreditation status with The Joint Commission and with Federal and State regulating agencies. It supports the mission of the organization by ensuring that appropriate quality tools are used to measure and facilitate performance improvements, and promoting a culture of safety. Among other services, the department staff participates in national quality programs to ensure the monitoring of quality performance and evaluate how standards are being met.
The Patient Experience Coordinator performs as a key contributor and coordinator in the development, implementation, and communication of Patient Experience initiatives and projects. Serves as a key resource to management in Patient Experience coaching, facilitation and training. Assists in creating visually dynamic reports, training materials, videos, and communications that promote Patient Experience at Hawaii Pacific Health. Oversees patient feedback systems and assists operations in utilizing feedback to drive process improvement across the system. Provides general planning and coordination of project teams and meetings, while maintaining strong relationships with administration, providers, and staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. One (1) year of experience in customer service or health care field.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Health Care Administration. Three (3) years of experience in customer service or health care field. Experience creating educational/training materials, delivering training, and report abstraction. Experience with basic design software such as Canva, Picto-chart, or Adobe products. Experience in public speaking, facilitation, or leading group discussions.
