Hawaii Pacific Health Coordinator - Philanthropy (Fundraising and Marketing) in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description

Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women’s health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.

The Philanthropy department at Wilcox Memorial Hospital aims to create and develop sustainable philanthropy initiatives across the organization. As a nonprofit hospital system, we provide care to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. Philanthropic support from the community is therefore vital and enables us to ensure that everyone who needs care can receive it. Donors help to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Hawai‘i because our families deserve them. Donations are utilized in patient services and programs, research and education, areas of greatest need at each facility, and endowment.

If you are a creative and inspired action-oriented leader who supports our health care mission, you could help build lasting, rewarding community relationships as our Philanthropy Coordinator. In this role you work with the team to implement Philanthropy communications with donors, donor prospects and external philanthropy constituents; implementing and executing Annual Giving programs, donor cultivation and stewardship activities; and planning various fundraising and donor recognition events. We are looking for someone dedicated and accomplished, with remarkable communication and strategic planning skills, who shares our commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
