The Centralized Verification department oversees the process of verifying credentials of Hawai‘i Pacific Health medical professionals to ensure that we contract the most highly qualified staff for our hospitals and clinics. Responsibilities of the department include assuring compliance with all regulatory agency requirements that govern hospital credentialing, along with the enrollment process for our employed/contracted staff with insurance companies and hospitals.
If you are highly organized and detail oriented, you could play a key role in helping the Centralized Verifications Office uphold our characteristic clinical and administrative excellence. As the Credentialing Clerk, you will assist with clerical functions in the credentialing process for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its subsidiaries; perform clerical duties that include compliance with all regulatory agency requirements governing credentialing; verification of required information; compiling supporting documentation; distribution of applicant profiles to contracted entities; and maintenance of a system-wide database of affiliated members. We are looking for someone responsible and meticulous, with an appreciation for accurate data and systems information integrity, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree in Business or health related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Two (2) years of clerical or administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or health related field. Health care experience. Credentialing experience.
