Hawaii Pacific Health Director, Advancement Services - Philanthropy in Honolulu, Hawaii
Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women’s health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.
The Philanthropy department at Hawai‘i Pacific Health aims to create and develop sustainable philanthropy initiatives across the organization. As a nonprofit hospital system, we provide care to all people, regardless of their ability to pay. Philanthropic support from the community is therefore vital and enables us to ensure that everyone who needs care can receive it. Donors help to bring state-of-the-art technologies to Hawai‘i because our families deserve them. Donations are utilized in patient services and programs, research and education, areas of greatest need at each facility, and endowment.
In this exciting role, the Director of Advancement Services will lead and manage the programs and individuals that support and enable fundraising, including gift administration, database management, information services, reporting and analysis, and business operations. We are looking for someone who is passionate and creative, has excellent communication skills, the capacity to work with others in a team-oriented atmosphere, and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.
