Information Technology (IT) implements, supports and maintains all systems at Hawai‘i Pacific Health facilities. The department encompasses the people, records and activities that process the data and information in the organization. The team provides support to users, and acts as the key liaison between the business community and vendors. It also codes, defines criteria, performs testing and debugging, and maintains programs in order to meet the informational needs of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s numerous facilities and administrative offices.
As the Information Security Manager, you will provide direction and oversight of day to day performance of the Operations Security team. In this role, you will have direct responsibility for surveillance and emergency response to cyber threats affecting the HPH enterprise-wide IT infrastructure as well as threat hunting, investigation, and technical analysis. We are looking for someone with outstanding technical and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawai‘i.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information or Computer Science, Security or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience working in an Information Security Operations Center (ISOC) or related security field. Three (3) years of Information Technology or related management experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Five (5) to eight (8) years of leadership experience in an Information Security Operations Center or IT help desk environment. Experience with managing security teams monitoring and responding capabilities for cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services), and understanding of endpoint security analysis on Windows, Mac and Linus event data and related tools (McAfee, Symantec). Current industry IT Security Certifications and/or current with vendor related CISA/CISM, ISACA Certification, RHCE, or UNIX Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) training. Vendor Certifications such as: LPT (Licensed Penetration Tester), CHFI (Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator) or related/comparable training.
