The Human Resources team builds collaborative strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to support the organization’s mission, goals and initiatives. We develop areas such as workforce staffing and development, operational support, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations and organizational effectiveness. As the Payroll Specialist, you will join a team of dynamic professionals dedicated to recruiting and retaining a talented, diverse workforce for Hawai‘i Pacific Health and its affiliates. In this role, you will deliver various human resources and payroll-related activities that support the health care organization, including the processing and auditing of time detail from various Time & Attendance systems and the processing of payroll salary data to ensure correct payments to system employees. You will also be responsible for assigned daily activities related to the administration of payroll programs for the organization’s employees. Minimum Qualifications: Associate’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. One (1) year payroll/Human Resources experience or in related area.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Ceridian automated payroll systems or similar systems. Experience with automated payroll systems and/or in a high volume production environment with customer contact.

Hawai‘i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the minimum hourly rate for the position. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.

Starting Hourly Rate: 27.36
