Job Description

Our Dermatology team provides consultations and primary care to patients suffering problems of the skin, hair, nails and mouth. Using the latest diagnostic methods, our clinical dermatologists have a wide variety of tests at their disposal to determine the cause of skin problems and treat common dermatological conditions such as acne to more complex problems such as benign or malignant tumors. The department’s highly trained staff can employ surgical interventions and other treatment plans using breakthrough technology and knowledge in the field.
As a Physician Assistant for Dermatology department, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate and life-changing care to newborns and their families. You will be responsible for the direct care and treatment of urgent care patients; leading and performing patient evaluations, treatments and specialized technical procedures; serving as a clinical resource to staff and physicians; and facilitating the health education of family members, referrals to other disciplines and consultation with other allied health personnel. We are looking for someone with warm and professional patient care skills, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Physician Assistant license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. One (1) year Physician Assistant experience in an acute care setting or successful completion of a specialty specific training program.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in area of specialty.
