Hawaii Pacific Health Physician - Pediatric Health Psychologist in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 700 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. The Behavioral Health (BH) Division of the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is currently seeking a Pediatric Health Psychologist who will be responsible for providing evaluation, clinical services, and consultation/liaison to patients and their health care providers at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children (KMCWC). Candidates would be applying for a full-time position as part of the Kapi'olani Behavioral Health Service based at KMCWC, though will coordinate with services across the Hawai'i Pacific Health system.

Essential qualifications include: Doctoral level degree in Clinical or Health Psychology, professional experience in a multi-disciplinary medical setting, and eligibility for licensure in the sate of Hawai'i. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in working with children, teens and families who are undergoing medical treatment for significant health concerns. Preferred candidates will also demonstrate strong clinical and multidisciplinary collaboration skills in the areas of pediatric oncology, neurology, palliative care, and other acute medical care settings or treatment programs.
