Hawaii Pacific Health Physician - Pediatric Hematology/Oncology in Honolulu, Hawaii

Job Description

Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to join a collaborative and dynamic team that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematologic and oncologic care for the entire State of Hawai‘i.

The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 800 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.

Kapi‘olani Medical Center for Women and Children is the premier pediatric hospital in Hawai‘i, a state-of-the-art tertiary medical center with established services supported by the entire spectrum of pediatric subspecialties. As a member of the NCI-sponsored Children's Cancer Group, Kapi‘olani's Comprehensive Children's Cancer Center adheres to the institute's strict standards and provides this highly specialized care here in Hawai‘i, saving families the added stress of traveling to the mainland for treatment. The team includes pediatric oncologists, pediatric surgeons, specialist surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, nurses, consulting pediatric specialists, psychiatrists, oncology social workers, nutritionists, and home health care professionals — all with expertise in treating children and adolescents with cancer.

Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Hawai’i. Experience in transplant and CAR-T is highly preferred.

Besides the clinical responsibilities, participation in research and teaching through the University of Hawai‘i, John A. Burns School of Medicine is highly encouraged.

Combine the advantages of an integrated group practice with the cultural diversity, superb lifestyle, excellent climate and year-round activities of one of the happiest and healthiest places in the country!

Please attach a resume and/or curriculum vitae with a cover letter when you submit an online application.
