At our Cardiac Catheterization Lab, we employ the latest catheterization technology to diagnose heart problems and identify the most appropriate
treatment plan for each patient.
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Cardiac Cath Lab academy is for experienced registered nurses who would like to transition to a new area of specialty and pursue becoming a cath lab nurse. This program is designed to create an environment that provides the experienced nurse support through the transition process from student, to novice, to advanced beginner, to independent practitioner. The program will be 24 weeks in duration and will require a two-year work commitment upon successful completion. There will be no time away (PTO) allowed or granted during the program. Must be available for rotation to night shift and any shift length (4, 8, 10 or 12 hours) during the training program.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
