Job Description
Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai‘i. Patient Services Administration supports the hospital/clinic leadership and is responsible for assigned areas within our flagship Clinical Service Line operations. These areas may include quality and financial performance, marketing strategies, human resource planning, medical staff relationships, and research and education initiatives. The Patient Services Administration team works closely with other health care leadership and staff within Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics to ensure that Clinical Service Line operations are running smoothly. They also provide staffing services for the hospitals and serve the facility with customer service, clinical competency and fiscal responsibility.
If you have excellent organizational and management skills, you can help to ensure that the most compassionate, attentive patient care services are provided across the care continuum. As the House Supervisor, you will be responsible for the delivery of a variety of patient care services during weekend, holiday, evening and night shift hours. You will also be responsible for maintaining operational aspects of the patient care units in collaboration with other service areas. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing. Current Hawai‘i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Three (3) years clinical experience with concentration in area of specialty. One (1) year charge nurse or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, health care administration, or related field.

Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
Starting Hourly Rate: 64.21
