Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Founded on the philosophy of empowering women to take charge of their health, Wilcox’s Women Center is helping women to take good care of themselves and their families for years. Here, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services in bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women’s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.

As the Lead Mammography Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services department at Wilcox’s Women Center provide the highest quality diagnostic services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will assist with daily operations of the department and perform routine and complex diagnostic procedures on patients. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and attention to quality control, the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years clinical mammography technologist experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Lead or supervisory experience preferred. Experience in other modalities.
