Job Description
Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible, quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua'i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 20-bed emergency department is the first neighbor island facility to obtain a Level III Trauma designation and serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Founded on the philosophy of empowering women to take charge of their health, Wilcox’s Women Center is helping women to take good care of themselves and their families for years. Here, clients receive health screenings, diagnostic tests and treatment services in bone health and osteoporosis, menopause, ultrasound, women’s counseling and coaching, aesthetics, massage, acupuncture and various educational classes geared toward healthy living.
As a Mammography Technologist, you will help the Imaging Services at Wilcox Memorial Hospital to provide quality diagnostic services and care for our women patients. Your responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammographic procedures for evaluation by a physician. We are looking for someone meticulous and dedicated, with a solid understanding of technical and imaging procedure, excellent communication and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Registered Mammography Technologist (RT)(M) with the ARRT (must obtain within one (1) year of hire). One (1) year Radiologic Technologist experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)® with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART). One (1) year Mammography Technologist experience.
