Hawaii Pacific Health Nurse Practitioner - Oncology in United States
The Hawai‘i Pacific Health Medical Group is comprised of over 600 employed physicians and advanced practice providers. Together with our four medical centers (Kapi‘olani, Pali Momi, Straub, and Wilcox) and more than 50 convenient clinic locations statewide, our nonprofit health system is one of the state’s largest health care providers. Our network of physicians and specialists work together to provide a distinctive and effective model of coordinated care for maintaining the health and wellness of our patients.
The board-certified physicians in the Oncology department evaluate and treat all types of cancer and blood disorders. At Straub's newly renovated Outpatient Treatment Center, patients receive blood transfusions, chemotherapy, nutritional support, antibiotics and other IV therapies. Straub's Certified Oncology Nurses are trained to provide education and emotional support to patients and their families. The Straub Cancer Center team includes board certified physicians, nurses, registered dietitians, outpatient and inpatient staff, and a quality of life professional. In addition to treatment and therapy, the Center offers family education and support group sessions to help patients and their families cope with illness.
If you enjoy working with people and believe in warm, compassionate health care, you could be the next Nurse Practitioner in our Oncology department. In this role, you will deliver direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment and technical procedures to a specific group of patients, as well as provide health education, referrals to other disciplines, and consultation with other allied health personnel.
